How to turn photos and music into a video
- Drop your audio. Title, artist and embedded cover art are read automatically.
- Drop one photo, or several for a slideshow. Drag the thumbnails to change the order.
- Pick a format (16:9 for regular videos, 9:16 for Shorts) and a background: blurred photo, solid colour or crop.
- Optional: choose a photo transition and an audio visualizer. Both are off until you turn them on.
- Click Make video, then download it or publish straight to YouTube.
Slideshow transitions
- Cut: the next photo appears instantly. Smallest file, fastest to make.
- Fade: a soft crossfade between photos.
- Slide: the next photo pushes the current one off screen.
- Drop: the next photo falls in from the top with a small bounce.
- Zoom: the next photo grows in from the centre.
Audio visualizer styles
- Bars: a classic spectrum, bass on the left, highs on the right.
- Wave: a mirrored line that swells with the music.
- Circle: a ring of bars around the centre, popular for lofi and beat channels.
- Pulse: rings that breathe with the loudness, subtle behind cover art.
MP3 to video in one click
Only need a song with its cover art? Drop the MP3 and click Make video. With one photo and no visualizer, the video is encoded at one frame per second and the audio is copied untouched, so a 3-minute track is ready in seconds and the file is close to the size of the MP3.
Frequently asked questions
How do I make a video from photos and music?
Drop your song (MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A or OGG), then drop one or more photos. With several photos you get a slideshow: split evenly across the track or set seconds per photo, and pick a transition such as fade, slide, drop or zoom. Click Make video and download the MP4 or publish it to YouTube.
Can I add an audio visualizer?
Yes. Choose Bars, Wave, Circle or Pulse, pick a colour and place it at the bottom or centre. The visualizer is driven by your actual track, analysed on your device. It's off by default.
Is this MP3 to video converter really free?
Yes. There is no watermark, no sign-up and no length limit, because the video is made by your own browser instead of on our servers.
Are my photos and audio uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything is processed on your device by your browser's built-in video encoder. Nothing is sent to a server unless you choose to publish to YouTube, and then the video goes straight from your device to YouTube.
Will the audio quality change?
MP3 and AAC audio is copied into the video bit-for-bit, even with a slideshow or visualizer, so there is no re-encoding loss. WAV and FLAC are converted to high-bitrate AAC, or kept lossless as PCM in a .mov file if you pick that option.
Why does a slideshow or visualizer take longer than a single photo?
A single still photo is encoded at one frame per second, which is nearly instant. Moving photos and visualizers have to be drawn frame by frame at 30 frames per second, so the time depends on track length and your device.
Can I make a YouTube Short?
Yes. Choose the 9:16 format. YouTube treats vertical videos of 3 minutes or less as Shorts. Longer vertical videos appear as regular videos.
