Your files stay on your device
Tuneshot makes and edits videos inside your web browser. Audio, images and videos you add are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to our servers. Finished files are kept in your browser's private storage until you download them or make a new one.
Publishing to YouTube
If you choose to publish, you sign in with Google and grant Tuneshot permission to upload videos to your YouTube channel (the youtube.upload scope). Your video is then sent directly from your browser to YouTube.
- We use this access only to upload the video you choose, with the title, description, tags, privacy setting and thumbnail you enter.
- The access token stays in your browser's memory and is discarded when you close the page. We don't store it, and we don't store your YouTube data on any server.
- You can revoke access at any time with Disconnect YouTube, or at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Tuneshot uses YouTube API Services. By publishing you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's use of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
What we store in your browser
Your preferences, such as the last description and tags you used, are saved in your browser's local storage so the next upload is quicker. You can clear them by clearing site data in your browser.
